40 YEARS REUNION

The long awaited 40 year celebrations and reunion took place last Saturday (26th September 2009) when players spanning the entire 40 years were present to view the impressive display of photos.
A packed clubhouse enjoyed the evening with tales to tell of past memories. A special brochure produced to mark the event was available for all to keep. Anyone wanting a copy should contact the Club Secretary. strtmazza@aol.com

SHEFFIELD AND HALLAMSHIRE COUNTY FA
ROSEHILL PRINTERS ASSOCIATION CUP WINNERS 2008-09

FOUR TROPHIES 2006-07

Winning three trophies 2005-06 will be remembered as the most successful season since the club was formed in 1969. Pictured above are the first team squad displaying the Wakefield & District Challenge and Open cups, the West Riding County Amateur Division One Championship. The fourth trophy is the Heavy Woollen Memorial cup won pre season 2006-07 .

The most successful manager of Hall Green United suddenly and sadly passed away on the 31 october 2006 at the age of 46. Sam, who took up the position of first team manager in the summer of 2005, was a charismatic person who inspired the players and was loved by all at Hall Green. His early death is a sad loss to all who knew him and our thoughts at this sad time are with his partner Diane.

Formed in June 1969 (following the demise of Hall Green Athletic Football Club) this football club has gone from strength to strength with successes at all levels aided by a constant supply of quality players from Hall Green United Junior Football Club.

Starting in the Barnsley & District FA they moved after three years to the Wakefield & District FA and then onto the West Riding County Amateur Football League in 1982-83.

Season 2005-06 just gone will be remembered as the most successful in their history winning three trophies, The West Riding County Amateur Division One Championship title, Wakefield & District Challenge Cup and the Wakefield & District Open Cup.
